Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Middlesbrough (North East) – Hybrid remote

#TeamCandour are working with a thriving solutions provider to on board an accomplished Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work out of their offices near Middlesbrough on a 50/50 hybrid basis. Occasional travel to client site is an essential part of this role so a driving license is must.

So what skills do you need??

• Microsoft 365 Migrations: Lead and execute seamless migration projects for clients, ensuring smooth transitions to Microsoft 365 cloud services and minimizing disruptions during the migration process.
• SharePoint: Expertly design, implement, and manage SharePoint environments to enable efficient collaboration and document management for our clients.
• Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune): Utilize your extensive knowledge of Endpoint Manager to manage and secure client devices, deploy software, and maintain compliance with company policies. Defender: Implement and manage Microsoft Defender solutions to safeguard client infrastructures from modern security threats, including malware, ransomware, and other cyber-attacks
• Azure: Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Microsoft Stack experience include Microsoft 365
• Windows Desktop and Application Support
• Virtualisation (VMware and Hyper V)
• VOIP Telephony

• Scoping potential solutions and creating technical proposals.
• Planning, delivery, and documentation of complex projects.
• Serve as technical lead to implement designed solutions.
• Contributing to research & development initiatives to create new offerings.  
• Staying current on critical technologies like Microsoft, virtualization, networking, cloud, and security.
• Contributing to research & development initiatives to create new offerings.  
• Guiding junior technical team members and providing mentorship.
