The company is currently seeking a Software Developer to join its collaborative, fast-paced development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a well-established platform with real-world impact, contributing to the continuous enhancement and expansion of its digital learning products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work as part of a small, agile team to design, build, test, and roll out new features and improvements to our LMS platform.
 - Pick up development tickets, figure out what’s needed, build the solution, and take it through code review and into production.
 - Collaborate with teams across the business, including product, support, marketing, and sales, to make sure what you’re building meets everyone’s needs.
 - Maintain and optimise existing systems to improve performance, scalability, and security.
 - Get involved in DevOps tasks using AWS, such as:
 - Monitoring and responding to infrastructure issues
 - Managing deployments and environments
 - Finding ways to improve performance and reduce costs
 - Take part in code reviews to keep our standards high and our codebase clean.
 - Keep clear documentation so everyone’s on the same page.
 - Stay up to date with new technologies and suggest ideas to make our platform even better.
 
What You’ll Need
- Solid experience with PHP, Laravel, TypeScript, Vue, and MySQL.
 - Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical people.
 - A good understanding of testing, documentation, and version control.
 - The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
 
Bonus Points For
- Experience using Git or another version control system.
 - Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
 - Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
 - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
 - Knowledge of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
 - An interest in e-learning technologies or LMS platforms.
