PHP Developer 

Our client, an established B2B SaaS business in the shipping and logistics space, is seeking a talented PHP Developer to join their dynamic team. With recent funding secured, they are poised for further expansion and innovation. The successful candidate will be the sole PHP Developer within a wider team of developers, working on new features for a major product and tailoring their platform for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new features using vanilla PHP, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with the broader development team to integrate JavaScript (Sveltejs), jQuery, HTML/CSS, and MySQL into the platform.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Work with APIs to enhance platform capabilities and integrate third-party services.
• Customise and tailor the platform to meet specific client requirements.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a strong grasp of vanilla PHP.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Sveltejs), jQuery, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
