Business Development Manager - Solution Sales - York
Overview
#TeamCandour are looking to add a Business Development Manager with experience in selling solutions to play a crucial role in spearheading the physical security side of our clients business. This role is to work out of the office on the outskirts of York on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Support all sales teams in developing strategic customer relationships
- Own and achieve a defined gross profit (GP) target, monitoring P&L performance and driving pipeline activity.
- Collaborate with marketing to create and execute tailored campaigns that support growth and customer engagement.
- Manage the relationship , including partner status, accreditations, joint planning, resource alignment, and regular business reviews.
- Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base while ensuring SLAs and service expectations are consistently met.
- Oversee internal processes such as vendor days, documentation management, and cross-team communication
Qualifications
- Experience in IT or technology B2B sales, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle and customer engagement.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable delivering training, product knowledge sessions, or team enablement activities.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
