Business Development Manager – Data Protection - Yorkshire (remote working)

Overview

#TeamCandour have once again partnered with a thriving & multi-award winning solutions provider to onboard a Business Development Manager, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing sales opportunities in the data protection space. You will be responsible for building the data protection sales pipeline, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring consistent growth of data protection offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Sales: Build and manage the data protection sales pipeline, educate customers, and execute bespoke data protection campaigns across all sectors.
  • Service Delivery: Maintain service delivery expectations with customers and ensure compliance with SLAs and deliverables.
  • Management: Track and manage sales leads and opportunities, provide quarterly sales reports, and drive data protection conversations within the wider team.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in selling data protection services, preferably within a reseller or distributor environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of data protection and the current marketplace.
  • First-class written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Day-to-day

As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the service delivery team, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with the marketing team to execute data protection campaigns. You will also be responsible for tracking and managing the P/L of the business unit and providing quarterly sales reports for key stakeholders.
