Sales Executive – York (outskirts – hybrid / remote)
#TeamCandour have partnered with a multi-award winning technology outfit looking to grow their sales team with a new executive – experience in the sector is of course preferable but of more importance is the attitude and career focus!
Key responsibilities:
- To actively seek out new sales opportunities and prospect new customers
- To own sales opportunities independently
- To manage the sales cycle from start to finish
- To provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the Sector Sales Manager as specified
- To qualify inbound opportunities
- To proactively ensure that your own knowledge of all relevant products, services and licensing agreements is up to date
- To provide support to the wider team who deal with existing customers
- To maintain appropriate customer records on the Phoenix sales order processing system
- Use the business tools provided to enhance your knowledge within your customer base
- To adhere to relevant Key Performance Indicators for the Sales Team
- Support objectives as defined in the company’s information security policy
Skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- First-rate telephone, email and IM skills
- Ability to prioritise work under pressure, work without supervision and use initiative to ensure that deadlines are met
- Effective time management skills with the ability to plan ahead
- Commitment to see a job through to a successful conclusion
- A flexible approach to the working day
- A strong team player and work ethic
- To be passionate about sales and providing an expectation customer service
