Customer Onboarding Engineer – SQL Python – Fully remote
#TeamCandour have been engaged by a pioneering organisation in the early stages of a serious growth plan having secured ££millions in funding to source an accomplished Customer Onboarding Engineer to join the their team on a remote basis.
What can they offer? The chance to join a hugely successful team, most of whom cut their teeth as direct employees of Amazon Web Services, who operate on a fully remote basis meeting up once a quarter across Europe to brainstorm etc all at the company’s expense. About the role:
The organisation are looking to you to provide great onboarding experiences which they see as an essential part of their offering to their customers. You will work directly with customers to learn their requirements, deeply understand their data and existing pricing models, and transform them into a workable configuration.
You will also work directly with the product development teams, championing the customer and ensuring their feedback drives product improvements.
You will join the Customer Onboarding team at a foundational stage and have the chance to shape its direction and your own career path within it.
Who are you?
You’re a great communicator, in both written and verbal form. You’re also a great listener, and reassuringly organised. These attributes mean you earn trust easily with stakeholders of all kinds.
Previous experience of working in a customer-facing role is desirable but not required.
You have excellent technical skills. You are able to analyse data presented in multiple formats quickly. And you have extensive database and SQL experience, allowing you to rapidly transform
data. You have skills in at least one scripting language, ideally Python.
You are curious and interested to learn about usage-based pricing, web-scale technology and cutting-edge data science. Previous experience of these subject matter areas is desirable but not
required. You are excited at the prospect of working with some of the most interesting SaaS providers in the world.
The team will be supporting customers across European and US time zones, so you’re willing to work flexible hours until the team grows.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are adaptable. You take pride in your work, but you don’t take yourself too seriously – it’s good to have fun.
