#Team Candour are looking for a Head of Development to work and lead a fantastic company specialising in App Development.

And they need YOU (insert meme of Lord Kitchener) to help drive the business forward as they go from strength to strength in the post pandemic world.


About our client

As mentioned in the above introduction, our client is the finest app agency in the UK. They offer a service unlike anyone else with an emphasis on long-term partnerships with their clientele.

They have produced hundreds of mobile apps with over 2 million downloads since the very first iPhone (a lifetime ago now I know!).

The role

The lucky candidate who takes this outstanding position will be a member of the Senior Management Team, dedicated to the success of our client and the continued implementation of first class processes'

You will manage a diverse team of remote and local developers as well as ensuring that the team hires, develops and retains first class talent

Responsibility of making sure that the business hits all relevant technical KPI's

As well as communicating with the team and an elite clientele regarding all technical matters

The individual

The right person for this role will need to have expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript (more specifically React Native and Node.js)

In addition the right individual will need good experience with PostreSQL and Serverless cloud environments namely AWS and Azure

The package

For such a role my client is offering a high salary (more than the competitive rate) DOE

A minimum of 31 days holiday as they close for Christmas each year

Flexible working hours (currently in the office around 3 days a week)
